Red Onion Marmalade
Ingredients
- Red onion - 1 large (240g)
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon (12.6g)
- Red wine vinegar - ½ tablespoon (5.7g)
- Brown sugar - ½ tablespoon (10g)
Instructions
Cooking Method
1. Add the oil to frying pan and heat same.
2. Fry onion for 5 – 10 minutes until softened and golden, stirring occasionally.
3. Sprinkle over the sugar and red wine vinegar and cook for another 2 minutes until the sugar has dissolved and is slightly syrupy.
