Beef Casserole
Ingredients
- lean beef - 450g (18oz)
- onion, chopped - 1 medium (150g / 6 oz)
- carrots, peeled and sliced - 2 medium (2 x 80g / 3oz)
- water - 300ml (½ pint)
- vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- white pepper - ¼ teaspoon
- salt - ¼ teaspoon
- fresh parsley, chopped. - 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- Sauté the onion in the vegetable oil
- Add the beef and fry until brown
- Add the water and simmer until beef is almost cooked
- Add the carrots and simmer until carrots and meat are fully cooked.
- Season with salt and pepper and garnish with the chopped fresh parsley.
