Creamy Porridge

Ingredients
- porridge oats - 30g / 1 oz
- milk - 70 ml
- water - 70 ml
Instructions
Method 1 (on the stove)
- Put the oats in a saucepan; pour in the milk and water and mix.
- Bring to the boil and simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring from time to time and watching carefully that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan.
- For a fluffier porridge, whisk the porridge whilst it is cooking.
- Leave to stand for 30 – 60 seconds and serve
- Sugar, pasteurized honey or artificial sweetener may be added to flavour.
Method 2 (in the microwave)
- Mix the oats and milk and water in a large microwaveable bowl.
- Microwave on high for 3 minutes, stirring or whisking half way through.
- Leave to stand for 2 minutes before eating.
- Sugar, pasteurized honey or artificial sweetener may be added to flavour.
