French Toast
Ingredients
- butter - 1 teaspoon
- egg - 1 medium sized
- milk - 50 ml / 2 fluid ounces reduced fat
- bread - 1 thick slice from a large loaf
- maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- Beat the egg and milk together.
- Coat the bread in the egg and milk mixture.
- Melt butter in a frying pan over a medium heat.
- Add bread to the pan, fry for 2 – 3 minutes on each side.
- Serve with maple syrup
