Cinnamon Rice Pudding
Ingredients
- pudding rice or pearl rice - 100 g (4 oz)
- whole milk from your daily milk (dairy) allowance - 300 ml
- double cream - 300 ml
- water - 300 ml
- sugar - 75 g (3 oz)
- vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients except the vanilla essence and cinnamon into a pan and stir well.
- Heat on a medium to low heat setting for about 1 hour.
- Stir regularly to ensure rice is not sticking to the bottom of the pan.
- Once the rice is cooked stir in the vanilla essence and add cinnamon to taste, warming through for about another 10 minutes.
